Coordinator of Special Programs - Livingston
The primary objective of this position is to plan, manage and develop the Dual Enrollment, Public Relations, and Special Events programs at the Livingston Center.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to effectively interact with employees and outside contacts at all levels
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Essential Job Functions:
- Plans and manages program components for dual enrollment, public relations, and special events.
- Coordinates and assists with distributing, gathering, and processing dual enrollment applications/readmits, registration, withdrawals, transcripts, special forms and all other processes related to dual enrollment paperwork requirements.
- Assist with executing the Dual Enrollment Lottery Grant Process: distribute information, track student applications, follow-up with students and high school counselors, ensure all dual enrollment students have applied for the grant in a timely manner.
- Oversee and assist with Business Office functions: distribute information, collect funds, write receipts, and ensure all dual students are fully paid.
- Coordinate with high school personnel and Academic Chair to develop dual enrollment classes.
- Coordinate with Academic Chair to staff dual enrollment classes.
- Organize and lead quarterly meeting with high school counselors.
- Assist in developing a dual enrollment program with the Tennessee Technology Center.
- Coordinate directly with Public Relations Director and Communications Coordinator at the Gallatin Campus.
- Assist in developing a Public Relations Program for the Livingston Center.
- Create and maintain effective relationships with local media and community organizations in our five county area.
- Coordinate and assist with marketing and tracking community schedules in the five county area.
- Assist in managing all special events, creating press releases, and media announcements for the Livingston Center.
- Develop event structure: agenda, speakers, topics, guest list, and other administrative responsibilities
- Evaluate, analyze, and report strengths and weaknesses of programs.
- Local and area travel frequently
- Other duties as assigned
